SEAFOOD TRUST certification identifies Heritage Salmon's premium environmentally managed products and demonstrates our commitment to sustainable development, low impact farming and conservation, when producing and processing our Seafood.

How did we earn the competence of Eco Label Certification?

Heritage Salmon demonstrated compliance with set standards to become a 'SEAFOOD TRUST 'Eco-Certified Member' through assessment by Global TRUST Ltd, an independent certification body accredited to EN45011/ISO/IEC Guide 65:1996 (General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems).

About SEAFOOD TRUST Eco Standards

The SEAFOOD TRUST Eco Standards require that establishments be managed in an environmentally sensitive and sustainable manner.

Expert technical committees have developed and endorsed the current SEAFOOD TRUST Aquaculture Eco Standards, with representatives throughout the supply chain and interested parties including, producers, consumer representatives, retailers, the government and researchers.

Ultimately, the Standards aim to ensure that Eco-labeled Seafood continues to be produced from a pristine quality environment in a sustainable, low impact and responsible manner.
